Ich will meine Suchmaschine zur\u00fcck<\/strong>! Google, Netflix und die M\u00f6belhauskatalog-Erotik am Beispiel von “Fall for Me.”<\/strong> Neflix-Kritik von laStaempfli<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also gut. \u201eFall for Me\u201c. Netflix verkauft das Ding als \u201eErotikdrama\u201c. Erotik! Drama! David Steinitz in der SZ<\/em> (21.8.2025) hat den Film zerlegt wie eine Wassermelone, die im Film eine wichtige Rolle spielt: knallhart, s\u00fcffig, zum Br\u00fcllen komisch. “M\u00f6belhauskatalog mit Br\u00fcsten” \u2013 genau auf den Punkt gebracht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

laStaempfli nimmt dies zum Suchmaschinen-Anlass: Sie tippt: \u201eSherry Hormann schlechte Filme\u201c. Sherry Hormann ist die Regisseurin, ein Urgestein der \u00f6ffentlich-rechtlichen, Ex und Witwe von ganz extrem wichtigen M\u00e4nnern im Business, bekannt auch f\u00fcr Inga Lindstr\u00f6m-Verfilmungen. Antwort von Google (laStaempfli hasst deren Texte, sie will eigentlich nur Links) : \u201eEs gibt keinen Hinweis darauf, dass die Filme von Sherry Hormann generell als schlechte Erotikthriller gelten.\u201c Aha. Google als Netflix-Sekret\u00e4rin. PR-Sprechblasen im KI-Look. Null Kritik, null Kontext. Hauptsache Reputation gewahrt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IaStaempfli sagt es ganz klar: Ich will meine Suchmaschine zur\u00fcck! Fr\u00fcher fand man beim Suchen: Blogs, Kritiken, p\u00f6belnde Forenbeitr\u00e4ge, den einen genialen Satz von irgendeinem Freak um drei Uhr morgens. Heute kriege ich Algorithmus-Lavendelduft: Alles in Ordnung, kein Problem, weiterstreamen.<\/strong> Google ist nicht mehr Suchmaschine, es ist der digitale Reputationsmanager der Streamingdienste. Kritik verschwindet, Meinungsvielfalt wird weggefiltert. Das ist nicht KI, das ist Sch\u00f6nheits-OP f\u00fcrs Internet. Auch Netflix baut ab.<\/strong> Offensichtlich will der Streamingdienstleister f\u00fcr Deutschland ein ZDF der 2020er auf, vielleicht mit etwas mehr Br\u00fcsten und Sex. \u201eInga Lindstr\u00f6m\u201c-isierung, nennt Steinitz von der SZ dies, und er hat so recht. Lustig war am Film – \u00fcbrigens typisch f\u00fcr deutsche Filme, dass die Handlung auf Mallorca, Kroatien oder Barcelona spielt, aber alle dort zuf\u00e4llig perfektes Deutsch sprechen. Sprechen? Naja. Es sind Wortbaus\u00e4tze wie aus der Ikea-Bedienungsanleitung mit Sexszenen choreografiert wie in einem Tanzkurs f\u00fcr Anf\u00e4nger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am Beispiel Fall for Me hat laStaempfli erkannt: Google KI ist eine woke programmierte Google-Beruhigungspille und Netflix setzt auf algorithmische Berieselung und Kitsch. Unterhaltung f\u00fcr unterkomplexe Frauen, die immer noch vom Prinzen tr\u00e4umen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regula Staempfli\/laStaempfli on Fall for Me<\/em>: The Banality of Netflix & the Loss of Google as a Search Engine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“AI as cosmetic surgery for the internet.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alright then. Fall for Me.<\/em> Netflix sells this thing as an \u201cerotic drama.\u201d Erotic! Drama! David Steinitz in the S\u00fcddeutsche Zeitung<\/em> (Aug 21, 2025) sliced the film open like the watermelon that literally features in it: sharp, juicy, laugh-out-loud ridiculous. \u201cAn Ikea catalog with boobs\u201d \u2013 right on point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

laStaempfli took this as a chance to test the search engines. She typed: \u201cSherry Hormann bad films.\u201d Sherry Hormann, the director \u2013 a public-broadcasting veteran, ex and widow of important men in the business, known also for Inga Lindstr\u00f6m<\/em> adaptations. Google\u2019s answer (laStaempfli hates the prefab KI texts, she just wants links): \u201cThere is no evidence that Sherry Hormann\u2019s films are generally considered bad erotic thrillers.\u201d<\/em> Aha. Google as Netflix\u2019s secretary. PR-babble dressed up as AI. No critique, no context. Just reputation management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

laStaempfli puts it bluntly: I want my search engine back!<\/em> Back then you\u2019d find blogs, reviews, nasty forum posts, that one genius sentence from some freak at three in the morning. Now you get algorithmic lavender scent: everything is fine, no problem, keep streaming.<\/strong> Google is no longer a search engine \u2013 it\u2019s the digital reputation manager of the streaming industry. Criticism vanishes, plurality gets filtered out. That\u2019s not AI \u2013 that\u2019s a cosmetic surgery for the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Netflix? Also in decline. The platform seems determined to build a kind of 2020s version of German state TV \u2013 maybe with a few more boobs and sex scenes. Steinitz calls it the \u201cInga Lindstr\u00f6m-ization\u201d of Netflix, and he\u2019s right. The funniest part of Fall for Me<\/em> \u2013 and very typical for German productions \u2013 is that the story takes place in Mallorca, Croatia, or Barcelona, yet everyone just happens to speak perfect German. Speak? Well\u2026 more like Ikea assembly-manual sentences, with sex scenes choreographed like a beginner\u2019s dance class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
